Elephant Whispers

The story of Elephant Whispers began in Zimbabwe with Rory Hensman, who grew up surrounded by animals. In 1988, he adopted two orphaned elephants, Jumbo and Miss Ellie, and discovered their intelligence and responsiveness to human interaction. Rory, with his wife Lindie, developed unique, humane methods for working with elephants based on patience, trust, and respect, earning Rory the title of “Elephant Whisperer.” After being forced off their farm in 2002 due to political unrest, the Hensmans relocated to South Africa, where they co-founded Elephants for Africa Forever (EFAF) with Howard Blight and Philé Van Zyl.

From here it was back into the helicopter and off to Leopard Hills
