Atmosphere, Oriental Negros
Finally Atmosphere Negros. Nice resort with a heavy emphasis on diving. It is a PADI IDC Resort, so standards were very high with loads of staff. First two dives were a disaster and thought about finishing but was persuaded to do the next two which were great, final two were more about coral. What I didn’t realise is this area is all about muck diving and macro, not my scene at all.
Dive 8&9 – Site: Dauin South and Malasob North ,Depth 15m : Highlites: none.
I’d really like to say something complimentary about these dives but cannot, the first was 35 minutes of purgatory hanging on to a spike in the ground in big current. At the end we were stationary looking at nothing until I signalled to go up. Pretty sure guide just wanted to get a decent amount of time elapsed. Second wasn’t much better.
Really hope things improve.

Today was Apo Island which is the plug from the volcano on Negros.
