Diving the Philippines
As we are travelling to a few different places in the Philippines and the diving is supposed to be excellent, it would be rude not to have a dive or two….
Pangulasian Island, EL Nido
First stop is Pangulasian Island, to get here you need to fly to El Nido, then a 5 min transfer along the mangrove boardwalks to the beach then a 30 min speed boat transfer. I had booked four dives over two days but due to Lynn’s accident only managed the first day. I was the only person diving and had a dive master and three crew attending to me.
Dive 1 – Site: Twin Rocks, Depth: 24m Highlites: Blue Spotted Stingrays, poor viz 5-10m max.
Dive 2 – Site: South Miniloc, Depth: 18m, Highlites: Ribbon eels, Stone fish, mantis shrimp, poor viz 5-10m max
